my first tattoo i got a few weeks ago at powerhouse tattoos in montclair, new jersey. ive always wanted a lot of tattoos but i wanted my first real one (i drunkenly indian inked my hand with something that resembles a broken egg) to have a real sentimental meaning for myself. translated into hebrew it means “close your eyes and enjoy your mind” — i wanted a tattoo that represented me entirely. i wanted to represent my upbrining and also my outlook on life. i used a lot of different translating websites/dictionaries to come up with this tattoo.. i’m still not 100% sure if its correctly translated or not and honestly i wouldnt care if it wasnt.
